Good Morning. Trending topics no longer a key indicator of what’s happening in the world. A few news topics, sure, but the rest?

It’s definitely going to be interesting to watch how much video starts creeping (or storming) into twitterstreams.
There is already a 400% increase in YouTube mobile uploads since the iPhone 3GS launched.
The availability of a video camera on the new iPhone 3GS should result in much more visual near real time updates. So many already using their iPhones to send updates to twitter. Short tweets from a conference that link to video on YouTube. All produced near real-time, and all in the palm of your hand. Shoot, download, tweet. The ability to “be” at a conference or event, without really being there. The ability to watch a presentation minutes after. Sure, you can already do this with some of the sites, like ustream, but now with a device as powerful as the iPhone, soon to be in the hands of millions, this experience is sure to grow. And anyone can do it and syndicate to Twitter or Facebook.
What do you think? How else will video and real-time updates continue to evolve?
